How to play Shade
Mix hue, saturation and lightness to match the target color by eye.
- 1The left card shows today's target color. The right card shows your mix.
- 2Use the hue, saturation and lightness sliders to match it. The − and + buttons nudge by 1 (hold to repeat).
- 3There's no score while you mix. Trust your eyes.
- 4When you're happy, press Lock In. You get one guess a day, scored by how close the two colors look to the human eye.
